Information to know:

Health : Yellow fever vaccine compulsory (except children under 1 year).

Visa exemptions: Nationals of the following countries with a regular passport are exempt from visas if they stay less than 90 days: Benin, Bukina Faso, Cape Verde Islands, Central African Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Togo and Tunisia. Non-exhaustive list may change at any time, contact us for verification.

Transit : it is possible to stay in transit on the same calendar day with the continuation ticket. In this case, vaccination is not compulsory.

Children: A complete visa application must be completed for each child and must be supplemented:

O Original of the parental authorization of exit from legalized territory (father, mother or legal guardian)

O Proof of identity of the parent (father, mother or legal guardian) who gave the travel authorization (Passport, National Identity Card or Residence Card).

Copy of the airline ticket or itinerary return or Certificate of the travel agency mentioning the dates of departure and return

Copy of the yellow fever vaccination notebook at least 2 weeks before departure + anti-malaria treatment
If business travel: Invitation letter from your Ivorian correspondent written on paper with signature and stamp, mentioning:

O Dates of round trips

VISA ON ARRIVAL at Félix Houphouet Boigny Abidjan International Airport

Since January 2, 2014, it is now possible to obtain his biometric Visa at the Félix Houphouet Boigny Abidjan International Airport via an online biometric pre-enrollment program which must be completed by all travelers before their arrival in Côte Ivory.

Once the pre-enrollment is approved, travelers can obtain their visa upon arrival at the Felix Houphouet Boigny International Airport in Abidjan.

This visa is valid for 3 months for 1 entry only.

VSI can handle the pre-enrollment process. Please send your request at least 8 days before departure.

To be eligible for this procedure, the traveler must:

Hold a passport valid for at least six months after leaving the country and containing at least one blank visa page
Proof of sufficient funds
Hold a round-trip airfare
Hold documentation to support motive

If you would like VSI to take care of your pre- enrollment, please send us the following scanned documents by e-mail to contact@vsi-visa.com ( please send your request at least 10 days before departure) :

Copies the identity page of the passport (page with photo and page with address), preferably colors
Hotel reservation or Accommodation certificate + copy of the guest's identity document

Once pre-enrollment has been approved, VSI will provide the traveler with the registration receipt and pre-enrollment approval.

It is mandatory to present the following documents at the airport in Côte d'Ivoire in order for the visa to be issued:

Original of the certificate of international vaccination against yellow fever
Copy of passport identification pages, including pages with photo and address
Round-trip flight reservations

Attach to the documents already cited, as appropriate, the following documents :

If Travel:

O Proof of sufficient financial means
O Hotel reservation confirmation

If traveling business:

O Original of the French mission letter
O Invitation letter from the Ivorian company
O Proof of sufficient financial means
O Hotel reservation confirmation

If Health reason:

O Medical certificate or attestation of appointment in a medical facility
O Hotel reservation confirmation

Si motif Studies:

O Certificate of enrollment or pre-registration at a university or public institution
O The last certificate of schooling or the last school card as well as the last diplomas obtained
O Proof of housing (contract of lease, attestation of accommodation in university city, etc.)
O Proof of livelihood for the duration of the study stay or a certificate of scholarship indicating the amount and duration of the scholarship awarded
O Provide for health insurance

For students: Photocopy of the school certificate or student card
For minors:

O Original legalized parental authorization (father, mother or legal guardian)
O Proof of identity of the parent (father, mother or legal guardian) who gave the travel authorization (Passport, National Identity Card or Residence Card)
