VISA CHILI Application

Information to know:

• Visa exemptions: Nationals of the following countries with an ordinary passport are exempt from visas if they stay less than 90 days: Andorra, England, Argentina, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, South Korea Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Finland, France , Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Nicaragua, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, Tonga, Turkey, Uruguay and the Vatican. Non-exhaustive list may change at any time, contact us for verification.

To enter the territory it is sufficient to present a valid passport and until the date of return + return ticket.

For more than 90 days, a permit must be obtained from the Ministry of the Interior or a work visa must be obtained before departure.

• Transit : it is possible to stay in transit for 24 hours with the continuation ticket. Getting out of the airport is not allowed and there is no hotel in the airport.

• Children: A complete visa application must be completed for each child.

O Minors traveling alone : Provide in addition to the formalities Tourism: an authorization to leave the territory of both parents + copy of the family booklet

O Minors traveling with one of the parents: Provide in addition to the formalities Tourism: Authorization to leave the territory of the other parent + copy of the family booklet

VISA BUSINESS

• VSI order form in duplicate

• Original passport valid for the duration of the stay with at least 2 free pages face to face
• Copy of passport identity page (page with photo)
• 1 original photo ID in color (not scanned)
• 1 fully completed original visa application form
• 1 detailed mission letter from the French company, mentioning the dates and duration of the stay, passport information, full contact details, written on the company's paper + signature and stamp
• Hotel reservation (full contact details)
• Copy of the ticket or itinerary return or Certificate of the travel agency
• Certificate of Work or Certificate of Education
• Extract from French criminal records
• Document certifies the economic solvency of the traveler (copy of payslips for example)
• Copy of residence permit valid until return to France or Schengen visa for foreign nationals

Please note: VSI can check and file your visa application with the Embassy of Chile, but the traveler must come in person to collect his passport.

VISA TOURISM

• VSI order form in duplicate

• Original passport valid for the duration of the stay with at least 2 free pages face to face
• Copy of passport identity page (page with photo)
• 1 original photo ID in color (not scanned)
• 1 fully completed original visa application form
• Copy of the ticket or itinerary return or Certificate of the travel agency
• Hotel reservation or invitation letter signed in front of Chilean noraire, of a person living in Chile, indicating how long ago you met him and under what circumstances
• Certificate of Work or Certificate of Education
• Extract from French criminal records
• Document certifies the economic solvency of the traveler (copy of payslips for example)
• Copy of residence permit valid until return to France or Schengen visa for foreign nationals

VISA STAGE

• VSI order form in duplicate
• Original passport with at least 2 free pages face to face
• Copy of passport identity page (page with photo)
• Visa application form
• Letter of motivation indicating your level of education
• Certificate of the company or organization where you are required to complete the internship (Internship agreement) with the following details:

· Full name of official or legal representative

· Full address, telephone / fax

· Description of tasks and missions during the course

· Planned start and end dates

• Excerpt from birth
• Criminal record extract
• Documents certifying the economic solvency to live in Chile: Bourse (500 euros monthly) if this is the case or Certificate of parents made before a notary through which your parents undertake to meet your needs and to cover the costs of trip. See model below:

• Round-trip ticket France-Chile
• Letter of motivation indicating your level of education
• Medical certificate attesting to the health of the person concerned and certifying that he does not suffer from contagious and / or infectious diseases.

- Health insurance with international coverage and repatriation (French institution attestation)

- Valid passport (six months after return).

- 3 identity photos (identical)

You must present the original documents.

If the applicant lives in the Province, the application may be made by mail provided that the photocopy of the passport is sent. If the visa is granted, the person concerned must present himself personally to the Consulate.

VISA DE TRAVAIL / RESIDENCE TEMPORAIRE (with French contract)

• VSI order form in duplicate
• Visa application form
• Original passport valid for 2 years with at least 2 free pages face to face
• Copy of passport identity page (page with photo)
• 1 original color photo ID

• Contract, certificate or letter of assignment for Chile on behalf of an enterprise whose registered office is in France, signed by the employer, official or legal representative (name, first name, full address and telephone number must be mentioned) .

- This letter must authorize the person (surname, first name, address and telephone) to work (details of the work to be carried out, duration, planned dates and term of activities) for a given salary (in French or foreign currency).

- The following special clause must be included: "The employer undertakes to pay to the employee and the members of his family the return ticket for the country of origin or elsewhere, as mutually agreed, and That it will maintain the continuity of affiliation to the French Social Security. "

• Last name, first name, full address, telephone number of the person in charge or legal representative of the company or subsidiary in Chile
• Criminal record extract
• Certificate of health insurance and repatriation with international coverage
• Copy of family book or Birth certificate for children or accompanying persons
• Curriculum vitae

• Medical certificate of good health attesting that you do not suffer from any contagious and / or infectious diseases

The documents provided must be ORIGINAL. If the visa is accepted, the person must present himself personally to the Consulate of Paris.
