Given the current context in GABON, VSI can not take care of obtaining visas for Journalists and Lawyers. The consulate demands that the interested parties be consulted.
Information to know:
- Following the consular instructions, it is impossible for us to file non-compliant applications or we will be removed from the list of agencies authorized by the Consulate. Please send the documents according to the requirements mentioned below.
- Visa upon arrival : South African nationals can obtain visa upon arrival in Gabon
Some countries are exempted from visas under the bilateral agreements with Gabon, please check the list of exempted countries
- Transit : it is possible to stay in transit for 24 hours with the continuation ticket (except for the Lebanese who must obtain a visa). Vaccination against yellow fever is not mandatory if you are staying in the transit zone. Certain nationalities are subject to restrictions. Contact us for more information: here .
- Children: A complete visa application must be completed for each child. Children under 1 year of age are exempt from yellow fever vaccination.
Minors traveling alone : Provide in addition to the formalities Tourism: an authorization to leave the territory of both parents + copy of the family booklet
Minors traveling with one of the parents: Provide in addition to the formalities Tourism: Permission to leave the territory of the other parent + copy of the family book
- Health : Yellow fever vaccine compulsory. Recommended anti-malarial treatment. The vaccination record must still be valid for the duration of the stay.
VISA BUSINESS (<6months)

All documents must be sent in 2 copies
- VSI order form in 2 copies
- Original passport, biometric preferably, valid 6 months after the scheduled return date, with at least 2 blank pages face to face obligatorily
- Copy of Passport ID
- 2 recent original pictures in color, size 3.5X4.5 cm pasted on the forms - DO NOT SMILE ON THE PHOTOS OTHERWISE THE VISA IS REFUSED OF OFFICE -
- 2 original visa application forms fully completed manually and in a single color. The signature must be affixed in the frame provided for this purpose and do not overflow. Mention compulsory: phone number of the passenger (p1), the Gabonese correspondent (p2) and the hotel in Gabon (p2).
- Original order of mission of the French company (titled "Order of mission"), signed and stamped. Attention: this letter should not mention any address or attention to the embassy or consulate, note only "Order of mission". + 1 copy. See model:
- Original invitation letter (or beautiful scanned copy in colors), addressed to the passenger, mentioning the reason for the stay, signed and stamped + 1 copy
- Employer's certificate indicating seniority, position and type of contract. If you mention the salary, the proof of income is not necessary + 1 copy. See model:
- Proof of income (copy of pay slip, certificate of income, pension fund or mention the salary in the employer's certificate requested above)
- Certificate of insurance repatriation and medical care, original + 1 copy. We can on request supply it, contact us here
- Hotel reservation with signature and hotel stamp in 2 copies or Certificate of original accommodation, issued by a Gabonese town hall (+1 copy) + 2 copies of the host's identity card or his card Stay + the last 3 pay slips (+1 copy)
- 2 copies of the return air ticket
- 2 copies of the yellow fever vaccination notebook
- For European nationals living in France: please enclose a proof of address
- For foreign nationals living in France: please also attach 2 copies of the residence permit valid for 6 months (receipt accepted in case of renewal)
The Consulate keeps the originals and returns the copies to us, you will have to take them with you during your trip.
VISA TOURISM

- Present a certificate of accommodation issued by a Gabonese town hall and copy of the accommodation card or residence card and the last 3 pay slips

E-VISA ON ARRIVAL
If you would like VSI to take care of obtaining your e-VIsa, please send us an e-mail to evisa@vsi-visa.com or by simple mail the following c oments :
- Copy of passport (page with photo) in color, good quality. The passport must contain 2 free pages, be valid for up to 6 months from your expected date of arrival in Gabon and outside the emergency passport.

- A scan of a color photo ID less than 6 months old, 35 * 45 mm in size, with no overexposure or underexposure. It must be properly contrasted, with no shadow on the face or in the background
- The letter of invitation
In about 7 to 10 days we will send you the e-Visa by email, to print, allowing to embark.
Payments are made in cash only at the moment of arrival at the Leon Mba International Airport in Libreville when the e-visa sticker is presented.
This e-visa is granted for the following periods of stay:
- From 1 to 3 months with a single entry , its cost is 70 € + the processing fee of 15 € for a total amount of 85 € .
- Of six (6) months with multiple entries , the cost of which is € 185 + the processing fee of € 15 or a total of € 200.
This e-visa, like other visas issued by the Gabonese Republic, can be extended by going to the Visa Service of the Directorate General of Documentation and Immigration (DGDI) in Libreville, under the following conditions:
• A one (01) month visa may be extended by two (02) months
• A two (2) month visa may be extended by one (01) month
Some countries are exempted from visas under bilateral agreements with G abon, so please check the list of countries exempted in advance before submitting an e-visa application.
It is mandatory to present the following documents at the airport in Gabon in order for the visa to be issued:
- The copy of the evisa
- Copy of the hotel reservation

Validity of visa

The length of stay granted and the number of entry depends entirely on the decision of the Consul.
The visa is valid from date to date and for X days on the spot from the date of entry.
The consulate takes into account the dates indicated on the company letter or the hotel reservation.
No multiple entry visa is granted.
Visas 2 entries are no longer granted since 2001.
No second visa is issued when a valid visa is included in the passport.
