• VSI order form in 2 copies
• Passport with at least three blank visa pages with two pages facing each other. It has to be valid for 6 month + 1 day beyond entry date. Applicants holding more than one valid passport, whether it be of a same or different nationality, must submit them altogether with their visa application

• Visa Application Form completed online and printed in 1 exemplary. It has to :

·         Be completed online at: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/

·         Indicate "France-Paris" as the "Indian Mission"

·         Indicate all your names

·         Be signed in the original on the first page and at the bottom of the second page

·         Bear a signature that matches exactly the applicant's passport

·         Indicate your present occupation and specify your exact occupation in the "Designation" field in section G. Retired applicants must indicate their last occupation

·         Bear the names and surnames of the parents and spouse

·         Be submitted to the Embassy within 20 calendar days of completion

 

• Business Introduction Letter from the applicant's employer in France (original or copy). This letter must:

·         Be written in English

·         Be on company letterhead paper

·         Be signed, dated and stamped

·         Be addressed to : « Embassy of India in Paris, 15 rue Alfred Dehodencq, 75016 Paris »

·         Indicate the purpose of the journey

·         Indicate the dates of travel : entry and exit dates have to be specified and be identical to those specified in the Invitation Letter

·         Indicate the name and the passport number of the applicant 

·         Include the name, address and phone number of the organization(s) to be visited

·         Specify the requested number of entries and the length of visa required (matching exactly to what is stated on the visa application form)

 

• Letter of Invitation from the company the applicant is visiting (original or copy). The letter must:

·         Be written in English

·         Be on company letterhead paper

·         Be signed, dated and stamped

·         Be addressed to : « Embassy of India in Paris, 15 rue Alfred Dehodencq, 75016 Paris »

·         Indicate the purpose of the journey

• Balance sheet of the French company for the year 2021 (assets, liabilities and income statement) which should consist of between 2 and 5 pages. If you cannot provide the balance sheet from 2021 you have to give a letter explaining the reason and join the balance sheet from 2020.

 

• For express process (only available for French citizens) : In addition to documents indicated above, the following additional documents will also be required to be submitted along with the visa applications for issue of ‘emergency’ visas:

·         A note or letter from the applicant requesting urgent processing of his/her visa application and explaining the nature of emergency, which requires urgent travel within 7 days of the date of submission of application

·         A document/message/letter to justify and to provide evidence of the emergency situation

·         A confirmed ticket for travel within 7 days of the date of application

• Foreigners living in France. Please add the following documents :

·         Reference Form for foreigners completed in English, in capital letters and signed.

·         Proof of residence in France for the last 2 years minimum (1 per year): electricity or telephone bill for example. Best if you can provide 4 proofs (1 for the current year and 3 for the last 3 years)

·         Copy of the residence permit if applicable

·         Flight ticket for citizens of Switzerland

 

 

• In case of Dual Citizenship

Applicants holding more than one valid passport from a different nationality, must submit them altogether with their visa application and complete the Reference Form for foreigners. The consular fees and processing time applicable will be those of the second nationality (not French)

 

• Visa Validity

Please note that each stay in India on a Business visa may not exceed 30 days. Please click here to obtain the form that will allow you to request an exemption from this rule. A visa allowing a longer stay per entry may be issued at the Embassy's discretion.

 

SPECIFIC CASES

1.    Applicants of a foreign country and those holding dual nationality All those holding a non-French passport (including dual nationals) are required to fill in the reference form for non-French nationals as well as applicants of Bangladeshi or Afghan origin (applicants of Sri Lankan, Chinese and Pakistani nationality or origin, see below). This form must be written in capital letters, be clearly legible and completely filled since it needs to be faxed abroad. Incomplete forms or forms which are not legible can lead to severe delays with your application. Once this process is complete, a Surrender Certificate will be issued. A copy of this certificate must be submitted with the visa application in order to be processed 4.    Applicants of Indian Origin Applicants of Indian origin born in India with a nationality other than Indian must provide: ·         Copy of the identification page of the first passport. This must indicate that it was issued in India Or ·         Original Nationality Certificate Travellers unable to provide one of the hereabove documents may alternatively submit an affidavit that can be obtained at the Consulate of India   5.    Applicants with a Chinese passport or applicants of Chinese Origin All those making an application with a Chinese passport or applicants of Chinese origin must provide the documents listed in this check-list. BUSINESS VISA ON ARRIVAL - eVisa

WARNING : eVisa Facility is available only at 24 eVisa designated airports : Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh,Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore,Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum & Varanasi and 3 designated seaports :Cochin, Goa, Mangalore. However, he/she can depart from any ofthe authorized Immigration Check Posts in India.

 

If you want VSI to take in charge the evisa process, please send us by email at evisa@vsi-visa.com the following documents:

• Copy of the passport (identification page ), in colors. The passport has to contain at least 2 blank pages and be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in India. Temporary passport is not accepted.
• 1 photo in color, 5x5 cm size (US standard)

• VSI order form - eVIsa (warning : le consular fees paid online can be different according to the nationality)
• Visa apllication form completed
• Copy of the applicant's business card

• Flight reservation (if possible)

 

Processing time : from 1 to 4 days currently.

Once the approval is obtained, VSI will send you the document you will have to provide on arrival. Please note that biometric details of the applicant will be mandatorily captured at Immigration on arrival in India.

The eVisa is valid for 60 days from date of issuance and allow you to enter twice in India. Each stay cannot exceed 30 days.

The eVisa is non-extendable, non-convertible & not valid for visiting Protected/Restricted and Cantonment Areas.If you intend to visit Protected/Restricted/Cantonment areas, you would require prior permission from

Applicant must arrive with the same passport as mentioned above.
eVisa is not allowed for employment, NGO/volunteer activities , journalism and conference purposes.

It is possible to obtian only 2 e-visa in the same calendar year.

Eligibility

• International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting India is recreation , sight seeing , casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or casual business visit.
• Passport should have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in India. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
• International Travellers should have return ticket or onward journey ticket,with sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India.
• International Travellers having Pakistani Passport or Pakistani origin may please apply for regular Visa at Indian Mission.
• Not available to Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer travel document holders.
• Not available to individuals endorsed on Parent's/Spouse's Passport i.e. each individual should have a separate passport.
• Not available to International Travel Document Holders.

• Participating as an artist to several shows
• Be an athlete under contract for a club or an indian organism
• Person willing to do volunteering in an Non Govermental Organization
• Work as a consultant paid
• Be a pilot

If the application only has work certificate, he has to send them to the following email address for checking : cons.paris@mea.gov.in. The work certificate will be only accepted if the applicant can provide a copy of the validation answer of the consular services.
• Certificate of Incorporation of the Indian company/subsidiary
• Any additional document required on the CHECK LIST according to the type of visa

Stay maximum : 30 jours (exemption to this rule is possible)   STUDENT: Visa valid for 5 years maximum and 1 entry   Exemption from the 30 days rule : Please complete the following form: click here, and join a letter explaining why you need to stay more than 30 days in India. Please indicate specifica dates.    For citizen of Switzerland, the visa is valid for 3 month and 1 entry only.
