- If you are staying with a relative or friend in Ireland: Provide a dated and signed invitation letter from the person who receives you at home, with his / her address mentioned on the letter. This letter must confirm that you will stay at this address for the duration of your stay (the letter must be less than 4 weeks old at the time of the visa application) + copy of your passport or sjour card if that person Is not Irish - If you are staying at the hotel, youth hostel or B & B: Provide a personal reservation confirmation, including the address and the exact dates of the stay (only the originals are accepted)
