VISA MYANMAR Application

Information to know:

• Visa Exemptions: Nationals of the following countries with an ordinary passport are exempt from visas if staying less than 14 days: Laos. Non-exhaustive list may change at any time, contact us for verification.

• Transit : it is possible to stay in transit with the continuation ticket and if traveling with the same airline.

• Children: A complete visa application must be completed for each child.

O Minors traveling alone : Provide in addition to the formalities Tourism: an authorization to leave the territory of both parents + copy of the family booklet

O Minors traveling with one of the parents: Provide in addition to the formalities Tourism: Authorization to leave the territory of the other parent + copy of the family booklet

VISA BUSINESS

• VSI order form in duplicate
• Original passport valid for 6 months after the scheduled return date and at least 3 blank pages

• Letter of mission from the French company indicating the reason and dates of the trip and the contact details of the correspondent. For self-employed persons, attach a handwritten certificate with the company's stamp.
• Invitation letter from your correspondent indicating the reason and dates of the trip
• New : Certificate of incorporation of the compulsory company of Burma, document called "Certificate of incorporation" (equivalent of our Kbis in France)
• New: Notice of taxation of the company Burma, document called "Tax payment record"
• Copy of the air ticket or itinerary
• If applying for multiple visa entries: you must have a previous visa for Myanmar in the passport
• For foreigners living in France: Provide in addition a copy of the residence permit or proof of residence for Europeans

VISA TOURISM

WORK VISA

• Certificate of incorporation of the Burmese company that employs you, document called "Certificate of incorporation" (if the applicant has never worked in Myanmar before)
• Employee taxation notice (if applicant already worked in Myanmar)
• Registration with the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of Myanmar (if the applicant has previously worked in Myanmar)
• For foreigners living in France: Provide in addition a copy of the residence permit or proof of residence for Europeans

VISA STUDENT / STAGE / PROFESSOR

• Letter of acceptance or invitation from a University of Myanmar
• Letter of recommendation from a University by the Ministry of Education of Myanmar (for a professor or lecturer)

VISA OF SOCIAL VISIT

• Certificate of accommodation of the citizen who welcomes you to Myanmar written in Burmese, mentioning the full address of stay and addressed to "the ambassador of Myanmar"
• Proof of the bond with the Burmese citizen: marriage certificate for couples or birth certificate for children for example
• Former proof of Burmese nationality
• For foreigners living in France: Provide in addition a copy of the residence permit or proof of residence for Europeans

VISA OF MEDITATION

VISA JOURNALIST

E-VISA ON ARRIVAL

If you want VSI to take care of obtaining your e-VIsa, please send us by e-mail to contact@vsi-visa.com or by simple mail the following documents:

• Copy of passport (page with photo) in color, good quality. The passport must contain 2 free pages, be valid for up to 6 months from your expected arrival date in Myanmar and outside the emergency passport.

• Scanning a color photo ID

Within 1 to 4 days we will send you the e-Visa by email, to print, allowing to embark.

This visa is valid for 90 days only and allows to enter Myanmar only once (stay of 28 days maximum), and is not modifiable or extendable on the spot.

The eVisa is currently valid for entry into three main airports in Myanmar: Rangoon, Mandalay and Non Pyj Taw and for land entry into Myanamar via checkpoints at the border of Tachileik, Myawaddy and Kawthaung.

If you enter the Mynamar by sea, you must apply for a regular visa. You can not use E-Visa to enter by boat.

You must stay in registered hotels, motels, hostels, guest houses, and holiday clubs during your stay in Myanmar.

This formality is available for nationals of the following countries:
