VISA PHILIPPINES Application

The French do not need visa if stay less than 21 days

• Nationals of the following countries with an ordinary passport are exempt from visas:

O if stay of less than 59 days: Brazil and Mexico

O if staying less than 7 days: British, Hong Kong, Macau

O if a stay of less than 21 days for many nationalities including the French, Italians, Spaniards (see website of the embassy: www.philembassyparis.com ). Non-exhaustive list may change at any time, contact us for verification.

• Transit : it is possible to stay in transit for 24 hours with the continuation ticket.

• Health : Recommended antimalarial treatment

• Attention : Cultural tourists, journalists and film groups need a visa (the formalities are more complex).

• Children: A complete visa application must be completed for each child.

O Minors aged under 15 traveling alone or without their parents, irrespective of the number of days in the Philippines, must apply for a waiver of the exclusion clause from the Immigration Bureau at the port of entry into the Philippines . The person who has the legal guardianship of the minor must have an authenticated certificate of consent obtained from the Consulate

For other nationalities requiring a visa, here are the formalities:

VISA BUSINESS

• VSI order form in duplicate
• Original passport valid for 6 months after the scheduled return date
• Copy of the passport identity page (any file received without this copy will be charged the extra copy 0.50 €)
• 2 original color photos (not scanned) and signed on the back
• 2 visa application forms
• Letter of mission from the French company or Letter of invitation indicating the reason and the dates of the trip and mentioning the assumption of the expenses relating to the trip and the stay
• Copy of the air ticket or itinerary
• Proof of resources (last 3 statements of bank accounts or last 3 payslips)

• If you are applying for a multiple visa entries: you must have at least a previous visa for the Philippines in the passport
• For foreigners residing in France (outside Europe): Provide in addition a copy of the residence permit

VISA TOURISM

• VSI order form in duplicate
• Original passport valid for 6 months after the scheduled return date
• Copy of the passport identity page (any file received without this copy will be charged the extra copy 0.50 €)
• 2 original color photos (not scanned) and signed on the back
• 1 visa application form to be completed. If staying longer than 59 days, you must provide 2 forms
• Copy of the air ticket or itinerary
• Proof of resources (last 3 statements of bank accounts or last 3 payslips)

• For foreigners residing in France (outside Europe): Provide in addition a copy of the residence permit

VISA STUDENT

The visa is mandatory. You must first obtain a special study permit (see the Consulate website)
