Visa exemptions: Many nationals holding ordinary passports do not require a tourist visa only:

Unlimited duration : Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belize, Belgium, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chli, South Korea, Germany Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Ecuador, Fiji, France, Greece, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Micronesia, Monaco, Namibia, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, St. Lucia, Suriname, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, Uruguay, the United States of America and Venezuela . Be careful!!! Persons with investments, properties, Dominican family or legal resident, and not having their residence or legal status in the Dominican Republic must apply for a Residence Visa or Work Visa before their departure.

 

The Resident Visa (RS), has a validity period to be used of 60 days and is valid for only one entry. Once on the Dominican territory, the beneficiary of the visa must present himself to the General Directorate of Migration in order to formalize the procedure for obtaining temporary residence and fulfill the additional necessary conditions, this visa being only the first condition

 

  • Documents to be provided to enter the territory in Tourism (for the French):

- Passport valid for the entire duration of the stay (the identity card is no longer accepted)

- Tourist card issued by the consulate in France, or at the arrival airport or via the tour operator. 1 card per person, valid 1 month from the date of arrival. (We can get it)

An entry and exit tax (airport tax) of approximately USD 20 in cash per person is required upon departure from the territory

 

 

TOURIST VISA

In tourism: Most Eurozone nationals as well as nationals of Canada, USA, Great Britain only need a tourist card (consular fees = 15 €).

To obtain it, send us: Passport + reservations + VSI order form in 2 ex.

Other nationalities provide:

  • Original passport valid at least until the expiry of the requested visa
  • Completed visa application form
  • 1 color photo on white background
  • Photocopy of the travel certificate (flight and hotel reservations)
  • Copy of passport identification pages
  • Copy of the last pay slip or last bank statement (no RIB!) Of the applicant or guarantor (parents)
  • For foreign nationals living in France: Photocopy of residence card
  • VSI order form in 2 copies

 

 

VISA BUSINESS

  • Original passport valid at least until the expiry of the requested visa
  • Completed visa application form
  • Letter of invitation of the company in the Dominican Republic mentioning the reason and dates of the trip. Please note that the dates indicated must be future when the application is filed with the consulate.
  • Mission letter from the French company stating the reason for the trip
  • 1 color photo on white background
  • Photocopy of flight and hotel reservations. Beware, flights and hotels whose start detected are exceeded are refused.
  • Copy of passport identification page
  • Copy of the last pay slip or last bank statement (no RIB!) Of the applicant or guarantor (parents)
  • Cover letter
  • For foreign nationals living in France: Photocopy of the country's identity card or residence card or Schengen visa
  • VSI order form in duplicate

 

 

WORK VISA

  • Legalized employment contract with the Department in Dominican Republic
  • Copy of passport + original passport
  • Birth certificate bearing the apostille - the consulate translates it afterwards
  • Medical certificate with the apostille - the consulate translates it himself
  • Extract from a criminal record with the apostille - the consulate translates it himself
  • Form 509-REF (at the Consulate)
  • 2 pictures
  • For foreign nationals living in France: Copy of residence permit or Schengen visa
  • Letter addressed to the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to be attached to the documents, including name, address, nationality of the applicant, passport number, telephone number and signed by the person concerned, applying for a work visa

For documents to be sent to the appellate court of the place of residence. We can do this if necessary
